One of the most fun parts of being a high schooler is imagining the future. Often it can seem distant and daunting but ultimately making a plan provides a comforting path. I was recently accepted to the prestigious Tulane University which I think is perfect for my ambitions. At Tulane, I will pursue a double major in political science and Linguistics. Linguistics because it’s my hobby and passion and political science in order to provide a foundation of knowledge for a future career. I'm sure that the work habits and skills I've attained in high school will be a great help in college. Especially the skills of time management and technology use.
After graduating from Tulane I hope to attend law school my top choice for law school is Georgetown in Washington DC. After I graduate I would like to clerk in the supreme court preferably for Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, or Kavanaugh. Alternatively, I would like to work in the Louisiana state house or for the New Orleans DA. My eventual goal is to run for political office the skills that I've attained at ACLC and will attend at other institutions will provide the foundation of knowledge required for Political office. The office I hope to attain is congressman of the first district of Lusitania representing New Orleans suburbs and much of Cajun country. This job requires numerous skill that I've learned while at ACLC I'm sure i’ll put them to good use.
